“Casper, you scared the S*** out of me!” Gia said clutching her hand to her chest.
Nik clasped him hands over his mouth to keep from busting out laughing.
“My name is E L I Z A B E T H!!” Liz said.
“Well I’m glad you know how to pronounce your words, did you have hooked on phonics when you were little?” Gia said, sarcastically.
Nik was turning red from trying to hold in his laugher. But his color drained from him when Liz turned around and faced him.
“Nikolas, this is the mean girl from last night.” Liz said.
Gia whipped her head around and saw Nikolas Cassadine sitting at the table in the corner. Oh god he is real, she thought. Last night wasn’t just a bad dream! There he was sitting there looking just as good as he had last night. Her heartbeat quickened when she saw him and she felt flushed. All of the sudden memories of the night before came rushing back to her. She started to breath heavy, her heart pounded with panic.
Nik didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t just ignore Elizabeth because she was standing right in front of him.
“Can you come help me please?” Liz whined.
“I, I.’ Nik started to panic, but eventually Liz won and he stood up.
“See Nikolas, this is that little slut from last night!” Liz spat.
Gia got up quickly and was ready to knock Liz’s teeth in, bringing her fist up for a punch. But Nik put his hand on Gia’s wrist to stop her.
“Gi..” Nik started.
Gia’s head shot up and she looked at Nik with fury in her eyes.
“Get your damn hands off of me!” Gia yelled, pulling her arm away.
“Who the hell are you and what do you think your doing grabbing me like that?” Gia yelled.
“I uh I’m sorry.” Nik said looking down.
Gia didn’t know what came over her. She didn’t want to yell at Nik, but she couldn’t let anyone know how she felt about him. She didn’t know what to do. So she just walked to the door.
“You stay the hell away from me!” She said pointing her finger at him and running out, with Courtney not far behind.
Nik was numb; he didn’t know what just happened. True, he shouldn’t have grabbed her arm like that and he regretted doing it. But it was the way she acted, as thought she didn’t even know him. His heart felt like it was ripping in two, he slumped into the chair she was sitting in and just sat there numb with shock.
