CH 51

Gia jumped when Nikolas turned around in shock and fired the gun into the air. She started to breath heavy as he looked over at him. He looked so lost it broke her heart.

Nikolas looked over at Gia, was he dreaming? She was standing in the middle of his room in the same outfit she had on when she came into his room so many nights ago. He had to be dreaming. He almost past out when she started to walk towards him.

“Nikolas.” She said softly as she held her arms open to him. Nik moaned, placing his gun on the desk next to him, as he ran to her and wrapped his arms around her. They sobbed as they held on tightly.

“Are you real?” Nik asked as he touched her hair and face desperately, his hand shaking as he touched her.

“Yes Nikolas I’m real, why, what were you doing?” Gia asked as tears flowed from her eyes.

“I couldn’t stand the pain anymore, I was going to end my life, to join you in heaven. I, I thought you were dead.” Nik said.

“Sonny lied to me, he told me that you were the one who killed Juan. He has so much hate for you’re family. I should have known he wasn’t telling the truth. I’m so sorry I ever thought you killed Juan. I love you, do you forgive me?” Gia cried.

“Gia, this has nothing to do with us. It’s part of a family war that’s been going on since we were kids. I don’t blame you for standing by your family. I know you love them. But they won’t let us be together, Gia lets just forget about everyone else and be together. Please.” Nik begged as he placed kisses all over her face and neck.

“Yes Nikolas, I’ll go away with you. I just want to be with you. I love you so much. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” Gia said. Nik smiled brighter then he had in weeks and kissed her desperately, Gia wrapped her arms around his neck as she kissed him back passionately.

“I love you Sparky.” Nik said.

“I love you too, and I have something that belongs to you.” Gia said pulling out his ring and grabbing his hand and slipping it on his finger. Tears rolled down Nik’s cheeks as he looked down at his ring.

“I think it’s time we have this made into a ring don’t you think?” Nik said touching her diamond necklace. Gia smiled and nodded her head.

“Well, angel are you ready to go? Just run away with me right now.” Nik asked.

“I’m so ready.” Gia said smiling. Nik grabbed her hand and pulled her out the door.
