"Hey
Liz, have you come up with anything?" Lucky asked his girlfriend over the
loud music. "No I just can't find anyone right for your brother." Liz
said. "Yeah I haven't had any luck either, we need to find someone perfect
for him." Lucky said. "Yeah we do, but all the girls here are like any
other girl in town." Liz said scrunching up her nose. "I know, they're
all so plain. Nik needs someone fun and energetic. Someone to rock his
world." Lucky said smiling. "Well considering that every girl in Port
Charles is probably here tonight I don't think we have much of a
selection." Liz said looking around. "Yeah, lets stay a little bit
longer and then we'll head over to my dads OK?" Lucky said. "Sure, I
would love to go to Luke's, and he could use the company tonight." Liz said
laughing.

Nik
raised his head and moaned. He looked around to see that he had fallen asleep on
his book. A smile curled at his lips as he looked down and noticed the smudge he
had caused by his drool. "Great." He said quietly. Rubbing the back of
his neck with his hand he began to slowly rub out the stiffness he felt. It
wasn't like him to fall asleep in public. He started to try and remember why he
stopped studying. He remembered that it was because ever since he was disturbed
by a person coming in the door, he couldn't concentrate on his work. He felt
strange that he didn't know why he couldn't focus. He remembered rubbing his
eyes and then closing them but nothing after that, it just wasn't like him. Nik
slowly stood up, suddenly feeling other sore spots on his back and shoulders.
Stretching out his arms and legs he bent down to pick up his things. He locked
up Kelly's and got in his Jag that was parked in the back parking lot. He got in
and head home to his empty Cottage that he was sure he would be up studying for
a few more hours in.

"Gia,
I swear if you don't get off of that table right now I'm going to push you
off." Seth warned Gia. She had been dancing provocatively for everyone in
the quiet bar. He didn't have a problem with it until she got up and began to
dance on the wobbly table on weak legs. "No Seth, I have to dance for these
people. Their lives are so boring that this is probably like the highlight of
their week." Gia said in the most serious of tones. For as long as Seth had
known his friend, he knew that she was crazy. But add alcohol to the equation,
even one drink, she could be almost psycho. "Besides
Everyone
in the club looked over when the door opened and two people came in. Gia didn't
miss a beat as she smiled over at the young couple. "Hi!" She said
excitedly over to a stunned Lucky. He was looking up at the most exotic looking
woman he had ever seen. Her braids swung back and fort as she was swaying to the
music that was playing throughout the club. Her long mocha colored legs were
clearly revealed between her short skirt and tall boots. He felt a small lump in
his throat as she smiled brightly at him and then jumped off the table and
walked over to him. "Gia Campbell, and you are?" Gia said extending
her hand to Lucky. "Lu.. Lucky Spencer." Lucky stumbled out. Gia
laughed. "Spencer huh? Any relation to him?" She asked gesturing to
Luke. "This here's my son." Luke said as he made his way to over to
Lucky. Liz cleared her throat, clearly trying to get anyone's attention. Luke
smiled over at his son, he had never seen him at a loss of words like this.
"And this is his girlfriend Elizabeth." Luke said smiling at Liz.
"Nice to meet you Liz." Gia said extending her hand. Liz reluctantly
shook the strange girls hand. "This is my best friend Seth." Gia said
pulling him to a standing position. "H..hi." Seth stuttered as he
shyly smiled at Lucky. "He has a girlfriend Red." Gia whispered not so
quietly in his ear. "Shut up G." Seth said pinching her. Gia glared at
him and refocused her gaze onto Lucky. "Do you want a lap dance Lucky
Spencer?" Gia questioned him. Lucky and Liz both looked stunned at her, for
completely different reasons. "Umm no he doesn't." Liz said wrapping
her arm around Lucky's waist. "Lucky can I talk to you for a minute?"
Liz asked Lucky as she pulled him to the side. When they were fee from earshot,
Lucky smiled at Liz and whispered over to her. "Are you thinking what I'm
thinking?" Lucky asked. "What, that that girl is insane and we should
stay away from her and if she EVER tries to give you a lap dance I'll kill
her?" Liz said. "Umm no actually I was thinking that we should set her
up with my brother?" Lucky suggested. "ARE YOU CRAZY?" Liz
streaked, she looked over to see everyone staring at her and blushed, lowering
her voice. "Lucky, that girl is nuts, we can't do that to your
brother." Liz said. "Why not? I think she's just what he needs."
Lucky said. "No." Liz said in a warning tone before heading back over
to the group.
An
hour later everyone was exhausted by Gia, she had pulled Seth, Lucky, Luke,
20
minutes later Lucky, Liz, Seth and a drowsy Gia were all heading over to Lucky's
brothers house. "Where are we going?" Gia mumbled over to Seth.
"I told you, Lucky's brothers place." Seth said. Gia nodded weakling
and laid her head on Seth's shoulder. He kissed the top of her head and let her
fall asleep on him. Liz complained the whole time. letting Lucky know that she
was definitely not a fan of this plan. But Lucky ignored her comments and drove
until he reached his brothers cottage. "I'll be right back." Lucky
said getting out of the car. Being the kind man he is, it didn't take long for
Nik to be talked into helping these people out.
"Where
can I put her?" Seth asked as he entered the cottage carrying a sleeping
Gia. Nik took a moment to look at Gia's limp body in the mans arms. He could
only see the back of her body as Seth held her to him. "Here let me take
her for you, I'll put her in the guest room and Lucky can help you with your
bags." Nik said extending his arms. Seth considered it for a moment, not
sure if he could trust this man with his best friend but he saw the sincere look
on his face. Seth also knew that he would be a better man at the job of carrying
her up the stairs. He nodded his head and carried her over to Nikolas and placed
her in his arms. Nik easily took her body in his arms and carried her up the
stairs.
Entering
the guest room, Nik placed Gia's seemingly lifeless body on the bed, he walked
over and flipped on the light so that he could see. He walked over and crouched
beside the bed so that he could look at her. She was clearly beautiful, even
with her eyes closed tightly, Nik knew that she had to be the most beautiful
woman he had ever seen. He lightly caressed her soft cheek, noticing how sad her
face looked. He wondered why she looked that way. Nik removed her boots and
pulled back the covers of the bed. He lifted her body, attempting to tuck her
in. Gia stirred and Nik froze as she pulled his body to hers. She began to
whimper lightly as she clung to him. Nik wrapped his arms around her and took
that moment to pull the covers back even more and gently eased her in the bed.
"Shh.." Nik whispered as she continued to whimper. "Momma.."
He heard her sadly say before she drifted off into a more restful sleep. Nik
felt a lump in his throat as he wondered what had caused her so much pain.
"Don't let her get to you Nikolas." He told himself as he walked out
of the room.
