YOUNG, Tom
Dimondale
Age 90, passed away on May 18, 1995. He was born on June 7, 1904 in Midson, PA and has
been a resident of the Lansing area for many years. Mr. Young was a life member of Waverly Lodge
#527, F. & A.M. of Detroit; the Capital Caravan Club; and the Elf Khurafeh Shrine Temple. He was
a member of the U.S. Polo Association, having been elected Polo Player of the Year in 1955; was
a member of the S.P.E.B.S.O.S.A. for 52 years; the Lucky "7" Club; and founder of the Lansing
Lithographers, Inc. Surviving are several nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends. He
was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Lucille YOUNG. Religious services will be
conducted by the Rev. Harold R. Cherry at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 22, 1995 at the Estes-Leadley
Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at
the funeral home from 2-4 Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to the
M.S.U. Foundation, Robert L. Young Student Loan Fund, 4700 S. Hagadorn Rd., Suite 220, East
Lansing, MI 48823, in memory of Tom Young.
