David L. WEEKS
Dimondale
Age 46, died June 16, 1989 at a Lansing hospital. Mr. Weeks was born July 5, 1942 in
Lansing, a son of John and Ruth (WAIT) WEEKS. He was the Owner of J.S. Weeks & Son of Dimondale,
member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale and was employed at B.O.C. for 25 years.
David was a member of the U.A.W. #652, Four Wind Council, Lansing Muzzle Loader Gun Club,
National Muzzle Loader Rifle Association, Long Rifle Association, and was a Hunter Safety
Instructor. He was involved with Cub Scout Den #643 as a Webelo Leader and was active with Boy
Scout Troop #53. He was a member of the Dimondale F.&A.M. #449 and was a 32nd Degree Mason with
the DeWitt-Clinton Consistory, Scottish Rite, valley of Grand Rapids. Surviving are his wife,
Kay; his daughter, Tammie; and his son, John, all at home; his half-sister, Helen MILBOURNE of
Grand Ledge; several nieces and nephews. Masonic services 7 p.m. Sunday at Field Funeral Home,
Dimondale. Funeral services 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale with Rev.
John A. Toth officiating. Interment will be in Dimondale Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m.
Saturday. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Funeral
Home. Memorials have been suggested to the First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale-Building Fund;
envelopes are available at the Funeral Home.
