TWITCHELL, Chester C.
Dimondale
Age 97, passed away October 29, 1986 at Eaton Manor, Charlotte. He was born June 6, 1889 in
Windsor Twp., was a farmer for many years and a lifelong resident of the Dimondale area. Chester
was a life member of Dimondale Masonic Lodge #449 and O.E.S. #393 for 75 years. He was also a
member of the Arizona Moose Lodge. Chester was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Ida
and his daughter, Iris McCOLLUM, both in 1975. Surviving are his daughters, Ione SAYLOR of
Phoenix, AZ and Mrs. Edward (Phyllis) McDOWELL of Lansing; grandsons, Chester and Mary BEARDSLEE
of Onekama, MI and Niles and Marilyn BEARDSLEE of Barryton, MI; 8 great grandchildren and 21 great
great grandchildren. Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Chapel in the Pines
Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday at the Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home,
101 W. Jolly Rd., Lansing with Rev. Verne Summers officiating. Interment will be in Dimondale Cemetery.
