Age 60, passed away on August 15, 1994. He was born on May 22, 1934 in Eaton Rapids. Mr.
Twichell was employed with the Lansing Public Schools for many years, retiring from Attwood
Elementary School in 1989; and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Surviving are his wife,
Winnifred of Chippewa Lake; mother, Esther ENSON of Big Rapids; 2 sisters, Joyce and husband, Mel
YERXA of Mecosta, Janet SMITH of Springport; brother, Ron TWICHELL of Eaton Rapids; step-children,
Bill, Jackie, Vickie, John, Penny; grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by a sister, Ruth Ann FOSTER, in 1992. Religious services will be held at 11:30 a.m.
Thursday, August 18, 1994, in the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with interment in Maple Ridge
Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Terry Perkins, Bill Gardner, Lyle Walker, Ron Marsh, Frank Wilson,
Forrest Tefft. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Home Hospice, 315 Ives, Big Rapids, MI 49307,
in memory of Raymond L. Twichell.
