George P. TOWSLEY, 73

  George P. Towsley, 73, of 4400 W. Holt Road, Holt, died Monday, Nov. 3. he had been a Lansing area resident most of his life and moved to Holt two years ago.
  He attended the Holt United Methodist Church, was a member of Holt Lodge 572, FAM; was a member of Holt Chapter 510 Order of the Eastern Star and he was employed by Oldsmobile Forge Plant for 30 years until his retirement in 1969. He was a member of the Quarter Centrury Club of Oldsmobile and UAW Local 652. He was a former committeeman of Local 652. He was a member and former secretary, vice president, president and board member of Automakers Credit Union.
  Mr. TOWSLEY is survived by his wife, Bertha; a son, Ronald TOWSLEY of Lansing; a daughter, Mrs. Rollen (Madelyn) SANDERSON of Holt; two brothers, Basil of Lansing and Hobart of Jerusalem Israel; and six grandchildren.
  A son, Voris LONG, died in 1966.
  Services were held Thursday, Nov. 6 at Estes-Leadley Holt Chapel. The Rev. Myron Williams, pastor of Holt United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
  Masonic services were provided Wednesday, Nov. 5 by Holt Lodge 572, FAM.
