Ace was born September 3, 1917 in Okemos and died January 4, 1996 at the age of 78. He was a
World War II veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy and retired from Associated Truck Lines.
Ace was a member of the Grovenburg United Methodist Church, Olds-Higgins V.F.W. Post 3727 and
Teamsters Retirees #580. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Delilah; 3 grandchildren, Tom (Linda)
, Ruby Jean, all of Dimondale, Robin of Holt; grandchildren, Denise (Dennis) KELLEY, Keri (fiance,
Matt KECK) and Allen; brother, Glenn (Orpha); brothers-in-law, Chuck (Joyce) RENS, Matthew RENS;
aunts, Fern and Bertha TOWSLEY, many nieces and nephews. Services 11 a.m. Monday at Field & Leik
Funeral Home, Dimondale, with Rev. Kyewoon Choi officiating. Visitation will begin 7 p.m.
Saturday, when the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Grovenburg Church Handicap Fund; envelopes are
available at the funeral home.
