Age 77, passed away peacefully after a short battle with Hodgkins Disease on August 3, 1993.
Born December 12, 1915 in Dimondale, she was the only child of Hazel and Fred STROBEL, who
preceded her in death. Miss STROBEL retired from Diamond Reo in 1975. She was a member of
Grovenburg United Methodist Church, Dimondale O.E.S. #363, the REO Girls and the Good Neighbor
Club. Surviving are a foster brother, Asil (Delilah) TOWSLEY of Holt; nieces and nephews Thomas
(Linda) TOWSLEY and their children, Denise, Keri and Allen of Dimondale, Ruby TOWSLEY of Holt,
Robin TOWSLEY of Africa; and several cousins. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 6,
1993 at Field & Leik Funeral Home, Dimondale with Rev. Mary DeBow of Coopersville officiating.
Interment in Dimondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grovenburg United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
