Mr. Sponsler age 83, passed away May 21, 1989 at a Windsor Township nursing home. He was a
veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army and a life member of Central United Methodist
Church of Lansing. Survivors include his wife, Doris of Lansing; 1 son, Michael of Grand Ledge.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing.
The family will receive friends at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge Tuesday evening
7-9 p.m., and Wednesday, 12:30 until 1:15 p.m. They suggest contributions to the Grand Ledge
Public Library or the the Emphysia Foundation.
