Age 55, died Oct. 20, 1976 at a local hospital. Born April 14, 1921 in Far Rockaway, New York. Mr. SPATA was the
director of the Training Dept. of Social Services for the State of Michigan and was a member of the St. Johns Student
Center in East Lansing and many other service organizations. Surviving are the wife, Elizabeth J.; 4 sons, Paul J. III of Flint,
Anthony L. of Lansing, Peter B. of Wyndotte, and Steven C. of Lansing; 4 daughters, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) KELLY of
Longview, Washington, Ann Marie Andrea E. and Nickolette SPATA all of Lansing; mother, Mrs. Jenny SPATA of Uniondale,
New York; 2 sisters; and 1 brother. A memorial service will be held Saturday at St. Johns Student Center in East Lansing
with Fr. Jake Foglio and Fr. Thomas McDivitt officiating. Contributions may be made to the Paul J. Spata Jr. Memorial
Fund in care of the St. Johns Student Center. Arrangements are by the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel.
