SMITH, Harold A.
Mason
Age 80, died November 19, 1988. Born February 3, 1908 in East Lansing. Mr. Smith was a
farmer in the Mason area his entire life. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel LESLIE,
in 1988. Survivors include his wife, Doris C. SMITH; 2 sons, Harold Lewis and wife Carol of
Mason and Robert George, of Mason; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Louise M.
SIMMS of High Sholes, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2:30 p.m. at the Gorsline-
Runciman Ball-Dunn Chapel, Mason. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at
the Chapel beginning Sunday at 7 p.m. where the family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. and Monday,
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society in memory
of Mr. Smith.

Harold A. SMITH, 80
Harold A. Smith of Mason died Nov. 19, 1988. He was born Feb. 3, 1908 in East

Mr. Smith was a farmer in the Mason area his entire life. He was preceded in

Survivors include his wife, Doris; two sons, Harold Lewis and wife Carol of Mason
and Robert George, of Mason; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Louise M.
SIMMS of High Sholes, Georgia.
Funeral services were held Tues. at the Ball-Dunn Chapel, Gorsline-Runciman Co.
of Mason with the Rev. Martin DeBow, pastor of Grovenberg United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mason.
Casket bearers were Robert H. Smith, Roland Smith, Shawn Lattue, Roy Smith, Steven
Smith and Clayton Duel.
Friends who desire may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
