Age 34, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1975 at a local hospital. Mr. Semerly was born Sept. 3, 1941 in Lansing, graduated from Grand Rapids Central High School, Michigan State University, University of Maryland Law School, member of the Law Review. He was Assistant Prosecutor of Ingham Co., Assistant City Attorney of Lansing, and in private practice with the firm of Semerly and Theophelis. He was a member of Ingham Co. Bar Assoc., Michigan State Bar, Maryland State Bar, Michigan and American Trial Lawyers Assoc., Member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, AHEPA, past member of the board of Parks and Recreation for the City of Lansing. Criminal Defense Bar, Helenic-American Bar Assoc. He is survived by his wife, Stella of Lansing; mother, Efrosine SEMERLY; sister, Mrs. Irene MARUDSA, a both of Baltimore, Maryland; a brother, Melvin SEMERLY, Athens, Greece; three daughters, Kyriakos, Seena and Eva Marie. Arrangements are being made by Estes-Leadley, Downtown. Trisagion Prayer 8 p.m. Wednesday, Estes-Leadley. Funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, corner of Saginaw and Marshall Streets, Lansing. Pallbearers: George Tesseris, William Kritselis, Dimitri Stathopoulas, Steve Annas, Ted Samra, James Theophelis.
