Mrs. Alice I. PURVIS
St. Johns, Dec. 10-Mrs. Alice Irene Purvis, mother of four children, died at the Clinton Memorial hospital
here December 8. Alice GARDNER, daugther of Mr. and Mrs. John GARDNER, was born in Lansing October 16, 1918. April 10, 1935,
she was married to Charles PURVIS. Mr. Purvis; four children, Mr. and Mrs. John Gardner; one brother, William GARDNER of
Eaton Rapids and eight sisters survive her, Mrs. Esther TWITCHELL of Eaton Rapids, Mrs. Annabelle NESS of this city, Mrs.
Belza SIDLER of Merrill, Mrs. Betty LODESKI of Elsie, Mrs. Lonella WALLING also of Elsie, Misses Shirley and Gladys GARDNER
of St. Johns and Mrs. Geraldine FARRIER of St. Johns. Last rites were to be held Friday from the Osgood funeral home with
burial in the Dimondale cemetery.
