Age 74, died December 12, 1991 in Lakeland, FL. Born July 5, 1917 in Allegan County, MI. Mr.
Orr retired from East Lansing Public Schools in 1982. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas
Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Betty; 1 daughter, Mr. Robert (Beverly) COOLIDGE of
Eaton Rapids; 2 sons, Kenneth (Carole) and Jerry (Lucy), both of Haslett; 11 grandchildren; 4
great grandchildren; 2 half-brothers, Kenneth FREW of Wayland and Richard GRANT of Royal Oak;
aunt, Alice KELLOGE of Florida; 3 sisters-in-law, Beatrice BAKER, Anna PARTIPILO and Joyce DAY.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955
Alton Rd., East Lansing, with The Rev. George C. Michalek, Parochial Vicar officiating. Interment
will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. East
Chapel, East Lansing, beginning Sunday at 2 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. There will be a Vigil Service at the Chapel at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family
would prefer contributions to the charity of one's choice in memory of Mr. Orr.
