NORRIS, Steven Earl
Steven Earl Norris, 35 years of age, died suddenly as the result of an auto-tree accident on Narrow Lake Rd.
near Butterfild Hwy., Saturday afternoon, March 17, while returning home from work. Steven was born August 25, 1948 in
Lansing, son of Iven and June (CLUTTER) NORRIS and lived on 27 mile Rd., Springport, for the past 4 years. He worked as a
truck driver for C.&J. Truckaway in Lansing. He was a Veteran with 8 years service in the Army and served in both Korea and
VietNam.
He is survived by his financee, Joann WILLAVIZE, 2 children, Scott and Bobbie Jo; 3 sons, Eric, Chad and
Shawn, living in Georgia; 2 daughters, Heidi in Georgia and Stephanni at home; father Iven and stepmother, Jan of Onondaga;
mother, June and stepfather Clarence SANDS of Eaton Rapids; grandmothers, Mrs. Mary Ellen NORRIS and Mrs. Lucille CLUTTER of
Eaton Rapids; great-grandmother, Mrs. Hazel SHEADDER of Eaton Rapids; 1 brother, Stanley of Charlotte; 2 sisters, Mrs.
Sandra PULIDO of Lansing and Mrs. Susan FRANKLIN of Dasville; 2 stepbrothers, Robert SANDS of Eaton Rapids and John MANTHEI
of Texas and 2 stepsisters, Lisa MANTHEI of Onondaga and Marilyn LUBAHN of Leslie.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 21 at 2 p.m. from the Skinner Chapel with interment in the Onondaga
Cemetery. Casket bearers are George Barker, Larry Tokar, Bill Sempf, Phil Wolfe, Bill Hindliter and Norris Hicks with Gary
Caskey and Bob McCuen as Honorary Bearers.
