Dr. Myers, age 81, died Dec. 15, in 1978 in Charlotte where he had been staying for the past year. Dr. Myers came to
Potterville in 1931 and had been a practicing physician until his retirement in 1971. He was a life member of the
Potterville Masonic Lodge and the Eaton County Shrine Club. He was a member of the Eaton County Medical Society, Michigan
State and the American Medical Association. Dr. Myers served as the Medical Director for the Eaton County Medical Facility
from 1968 until his retirement. He was also a member of the Charlotte Country Club and the Elks Lodge. He was alumni of the
U of M Medical School graduating with the class of 1927. Surviving are 2 sons, Dr. James MYERS of Ann Arbor, and Dr. David
MYERS of Franklin Lake, N.J. 1 daughter Marilyn PAYNE of Kalamazoo. 3 sisters, Florence Otis of New York, Lillian PEAR of
Gross Pointe Park, and Delia KAMMERMEYER of Iowia City. Funeral services will be held Mon. 11 a.m. at the Pray Funeral Home
in Charlotte. Burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hayes-Green-Beach Hospital Fund.
