Long Illness is Fatal to Dr. MEYER

  Dr. Hugh R. Meyer, 68, of 2117 Teel ave., died Tuesday at the home after a long illness. He had been a resident of Lansing for the past 30 years, coming here from Potterville. Dr. Meyer was a member of Central Methodist church, Capital Lodge No. 66, F.& A.M., Capital Chapter No. 9, R.A.M., Lansing Commandery No. 25, Knights Templar, and the Ingham County Medical society.
  A graduate of the University of Michigan in 1917, he practiced medicine for 12 years in Potterville, then in Lansing until retiring 14 years ago because of ill health.
  Surviving, besides the widow, Stella M., is a son, James R. of Leland, Miss.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. BARRETT of Baltimore, Md.; six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Esther SIBLEY of Coldwater.
  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Estes-Leadley Colonial chapel with Dr. Paul Morrison of Central Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Deepdale cemetery.
