Born December 30, 1932, in Lansing; died September 9, 1996, at the age of 63. Preceded in
death by her husband, Stanley; son, Mark; sister, Joyce; and parents, Margaret and Harold TRYON,
surviving are 4 daughters, Kathlyn (James) STEINMAN of Three Rivers, Susan D. HULL, Nancy J.
McKEON and Patricia (Andrew) CHAPMAN, all of Lansing; 1 son, Kenneth (Shirley) of Lansing; 17
grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Dennis (Joan) TRYON of Lansing. Funeral
services will be held Friday, September 13, 12 noon, at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. Lansing Chapel,
900 E. Michigan Ave., with the Rev. Mark Bender of Mt. Hope Church officiating. Interment will
follow in Deepdale Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Chapel beginning Wednesday, 7 p.m.,
where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Those desiring
may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 950 28th St., S.E., Bldg. E., Grand
Rapids, 49508-1326, in memory of Mrs. Mead.
