LUNDBERG, Nellie

Died April 19, 1961 at her winter home in Brandenton, Fla., at the age of 83. She was born in Windsor township, Mich., on Nov. 14, 1877. She is survived by the husband, Elmer; a son, Harvey of rural Dimondale; a step-daughter, Helen LUNDBERG of Okemos and 3 grandchildren. She was a member of the Dimondale First Presbyterian church, a graduate of Lansing high school in the year 1896, a life member of O. E. S. No. 363 in Dimondale, Bethel Shrine of Lansing, Windsor Grange and the Valley Farm Bureau. She will arrive at the Berl Field funeral home in Dimondale Saturday, April 22. Funeral services will be held from the Dimondale First Presbyterian church on Monday, April 24, at 2 p.m. She will line in state at the church Monday, from 12 noon until time of service. Rev. Harold McKinney officiating. Interment in Dimondale cemetery.

Nellie LUNDBERG

  Nellie SKINNER LUNDBURG was born Novemeber 14, 1877 at the home farm east of Dimondale. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Ada SKINNER.
  Her grandfather was one of the first settlers of Windsor Township, come here from Windsor, Vt.
  Her father bought and cleared part of the present farm 99 years ago.
  She graduated from Lansing High School in 1896, and in 1907 was married to Elmer LUNDBERG to which union was born one son, Harvey.
  She was a member of the Dimondale Presbyterian Church and Women's Association most of her life. A life member of Order of Eastern Star of which she was secretary for about 15 years. A life member of Lansing Bethel Shrine No. 11, and also a member of Windsor Grange and Grand Valley Farm Bureau.
  She had spent 25 winters in Brandenton, Florida, at the place of death, April 18, 1961 at the age of 83.
  She is survived by the husband, Elmer; and son, Harvey, and three grandchildren and a stepdaughter, Helen.
  Funeral services were held from the First Presbyterian Church on Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. Harold McKinney officiating and burial was in Dimondale cemetery.
