Age 83, died Dec. 28, 1983 in Port Charlotte, FL. Mr. Lovell was born Nov. 9, 1900 in Sheriden, IN. He was a retired Hot Inspector at Federal Drop Forge, a member of the Local #724 U.A.W.-C.I.O., an Army veteran of WWI, a member of the Windsor Twp. Retirees Assoc. and the Dimondale First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Nadine; 1 son, Neil E. LOVELL of Lansing; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Miss. Maxine LOVELL of Ft. Wayne, IN. Services 2 p.m. Sat. at the Dimondale First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John A. Toth officiating. Interment in Deepdale Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Fri. at the Field Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mr. Lovell will lie-in-state at the church from 10 a.m. Sat. until the time of the services. The family has suggested memorials to the Dimondale First Presbyterian Church. Envelopes available at the funeral home.

Lester L. LOVELL

  Lester L. Lovell, 83, of 3701 Jerree St., Lansing, died Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 28, in Port Charlotte, Fla.
  Mr. Lovell was a retired hot inspector at Federal Drop Forge and a member of the local 724 U.A.W.-C.I.O. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Mr. Lovell was also a member of the Windsor Township Retirees Association and the Dimondale First Presbyterian Church.
  Surviving are his wife, Nadine; his son, Neil of Lansing; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mrs. Maxine LOVELL of Fort Wayne, Ind.
  Services were held Saturday afternoon, Dec. 31, at the Dimondale First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John A. Toth officiating. Interment was made in Deepdale Memorial Park.
