C.A. (Junior) LOVE
C.A. (Junior) Love, 52 years of age, died Wednesday October 22nd at a Lansing Hospital were he had been a
patient for eight weeks.
He was born April 3, 1928 in Springport Township, son of Chester A. and Isabel LOVE and was a lifetime
resident of this area. He presently lived at 4842 M-99, Diamondale. He was employed at Lindell Drop Forge in Lansing where
he worked as a Hammerman for the past twenty-nine years.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce; two sons, Michael and Craig of Eaton Rapids; one daughter, Mrs. Kristine
PRIESMAN of Vermontville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester A. LOVE of Eaton Rapids; two step children, Andrew and Jennette
GEMALSKY at home; four brothers, Donald of Jackson, Wilson and Norman of Eaton Rapids and Laverne of Lansing; three sisters,
Mrs. Edna HAMILTON, Mrs. Clara STRAYER and Mrs. Lois HEATH all of Eaton Rapids.
Funeral services were held Saturday October 25th from the Skinner Chapel with Rev. Ronald Houk officiating
and interment was in the Dimondale Cemetery. Casket bearers were Loyd Crippen, Roger Welch, George Mask, Sam Bibler,
Laverne Love and Gary Priesman. Honorary bearers were Arlington Crawford, Gordon Crippen, Harold Hovey and Ernest Hausch.
More than three hundred friends and relatives attended his services to pay tribute to his memory.
