LAKE, Josephine Marie

Age 74, passed away on April 29, 1988. She was born in Lansing on January 18, 1914 and had
been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a former manager of the infantware department of
Kmart on W. Saginaw. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Marianne and William PRINDLE of
Lansing; 2 sons and their wives, James B. and Patricia LAKE of Springfield, BA, Norman L. and
Sharon LAKE of Chicago; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Jean LIPPINCOTT of Denver,
CO; nieces and nephews. Religious services will be conducted by the Rev. Wade S. Panse, Pastor
of Mount Hope United Methodist Church, at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing
Chapel with interment in Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Lake, Norman Lake, William
Prindle, Norman Lake, Jr., and William Michael Prindle. Funeral Home visitation will begin at 2
p.m. Saturday, and the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Memorial
contributions may be made to the United Way.
