Mason
Age 78, passed away on November 12, 1990 in Farmington Hills. He was born in Erickson, NE on
September 30, 1912 and has lived in the Mason area for over 50 years. He was the former owner
and operator of the Keen Convenience Store; was a member of Lansing Lodge #288 L.O.O. Moose; the
Mansfield, MO Lodge #543 F.&A.M.; the Sons of the American Revolution; and a volunteer at Ingham
Medical Center. Surviving are son, Carl L. of Oshkosh, WI; 2 daughters, Juanita and husband Tom
MATEER of Lansing, Linda RINARD of Alaska; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother,
Edwin KEEN of Lansing; sister, Thelma DYKEN of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces and nephews.
Religious services will be conducted by The Rev. Dr. Patrick D. Shelley of Plymouth
Congregational Church at 10 a.m. Friday in the Estes-Leadley Holt-Delhi Chapel with interment in
North Aurelius Cemetery. Lansing Lodge #33 F.& A.M. will provide the Masonic Service. The
family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Memorial
contributions may be made to Ingham Medical Center for Respiration Therapy.
