Age 77, died Nov. 17, 1984 at his residence. Mr. JACHALKE was born Jan. 19, 1907 in Ingham County, a son of Herman
and Hulda (MEESE) JACHALKE. He was retired from the Drop Forge in Lansing. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard
(Joan) WIGHT of Whittemore; a son, Nelson of Traverse City; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and two brothers,
Clarence of Empire and Harold of Mason. Services 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Field Funeral Home with Rev. John A. Toth
officiating. Interment will be in Dimondale Cemetery.

Herman E. JACHALKE
Herman E. JACHALKE Jr., 77, of 406 S. Bridge St., Dimondale, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 17, at his
home.
Mr. Jachalke was born Jan. 19, 1907 in Ingham County, a son of Herman E. and Hulda W. (MEESE) JACHALKE. He
was a retired employee of the Drop Forge in Lansing.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Joan) WIGHT of Whittemore; one son, Nelson of Traverse City; six
grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Clarence of Empire and Harold of Mason.
Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the Field Funeral Home in Dimondale with the Rev. John A. Toth
officiating. Interment was made in Dimondale Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Carlton Crittenden, Ed Dixon, Fred Dixon, Harvey Lundberg, Robert Russell and John Snow.
