Eaton Rapids

Age 59, died Sunday, November 19, 1989 at the Eaton Rapids Community Hospital. Mrs. Howe was a graduate of Redford High School in Detroit in 1946. She worked for the Speigel Company from 1946 to 1951 and later became Director of Purchasing for the Crown House of Gifts in Ann Arbor until 1975. At that time, she was a member of the Michigan Retailers Association and was a member of the Group that formed Ideations. Elinor and husband, Walt moved to Eaton Rapids in 1972 and founded Howe Distributing Company. Surviving are her husband, Walter; 2 sons and their wives, Michael and Margie and Doug and Mary; 4 grandchildren, Larry, Loni, Danny and Michael HOWE, all of Eaton Rapids; 2 sisters, Dorothy BROWN of Garden Grove, CA and Joe and Joey JIORDANO of Prudenville; 2 brothers, George and Ginnie BROWN of Ypsilanti and Elmer BROWN of Baldwin; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Darlene MILLER. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 22, at 2 p.m. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids. Interment will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

  Elinor M. Howe age 59 of Eaton Rapids died Sunday, November 19, 1989 at the Eaton Rapids Community Hospital. Mrs. Howe was a graduate of Redford High School in Detroit in 1946.
