HORSTMYER, Lee E.
Mason
Born September 28, 1952 in Lansing; died March 27, 1998. Lee loved farming, bowling and time
with his family and friends. He had worked at Soldan's Feed and Pet Supply for many years before
branching into the trucking aspect of Soldan's and had assisted his father at the Woldumar Nature
Center. He lived life to the fullest and had a great outlook on life. He was preceded in death
by his father, Clarence in 1997. Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Colleen of Mason; children,
Joshua Lee and Rebecca Sue; mother Ann; sisters, Kay (Paul) KIRKPATRICK and Amy (Brian) MILLER;
nieces, Sarah and Paula KIRKPATRICK; nephew Shawn KIRKPATRICK; father-in-law and mother-in-law,
Gale and Loretta BOWERMAN of Barryton; brother-in-law, Kirt BOWERMAN of Holt; numerous aunts,
uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Donald K. Dewey at 1 p.m.
Tuesday, March 31, 1998 at the First Presbyterian Church of Holt, with interment in Markham
Cemetery, Delhi Township. The family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel
from 6-8 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund that will
be established for Joshua Lee and Rebecca Sue in memory of their father.
