Resident Dies at 77
H. F. HORSTMYER Had Lived in Lansing Area Since 1910
Herman F. Horstmyer, 77, of 6181 Horstmyer Rd., died Tuesday at his home. He had been a resident of
Lansing and vicinity since 1910, coming here from Germany.
Mr. Horstmyer was a farmer, living on the same farm in Delhi township since 1916.
Surviving are his widow, Alvina; two sons, Fred of Mason and Clarence, of Lansing; six daughters, Mrs.
Clarence LEONARD, Mrs. George KAHRES, and Mrs. Robert RIED, all of Holt; Mrs. Orlu RICHARDS of Dimondale, Mrs. Charles
SANDERS of Mason, and Mrs. Lynn REYNOLDS of Lansing; 27 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Frank RAKE
of Lansing, also a sister and brother in Germany.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Estes-Leadley Colonial chapel. Rev. Robert Weber, of
the Grovenburg Methodist church will officiate. Interment will be made in Markham cemetery.

Herman F. Horstmyer, age 77, of 6181 Horstmyer Rd., Lansing Rt. 3 passed away Tuesday at the home. He
had been a resident of Lansing and vicinity since 1910, coming to Lansing from Germany.
