HOFFMAN, Earl C.
Eaton Rapids
Age 97, died Thursday, November 1, 1990 at the St. Lawrence Nursing Center in Dimondale. Mr.
Hoffman was a retired Electrician working at the trade for 75 years. He was preceded in death by
his wife, Nellie (CHAFFEE) in December 1969; and son, Clinton HOFFMAN in November of 1952.
Surviving are 2 sons, Clifford and Marian HOFFMAN of Augusta, MI, Kenneth and Mary HOFFMAN of
Eaton Rapids; 3 daughters, Pauline Iris HARTER of Lansing, Joyce and Harry HOWE of Eaton Rapids
and Doris HUDSON of Golden, CO; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 4 great great
grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, November 5th at 1 p.m. at the Skinner Funeral
Home in Eaton Rapids with Rev. Paul Mergener officiating. Interment will be in the Rosehill
Cemetery. Funeral Home visitation will be Saturday and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. For those
desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton Rapids Community Hospital; envelopes
available at the Funeral Home.
