  Alfred D. Hines, 79, of 131 Bridge, Dimondale, died Sunday after a long illness.
  A resident of Dimondale 67 years, he had been in business in Dimondale over 40 years and was a life member of IOOF Lodge 146 Dimondale.
  Surviving are his wife, Hazel; a son, Clinton of Dimondale; a daughter, Mrs. May PERSIDA, of East Lansing; his mother, Mrs. Ida HINES of Spring Arbor; a sister, Mrs. Ethel GORDON of Jackson; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
  Services will be in the Berl-Field Funeral Home, Dimondale, Wednesday at 11 a.m. with burial in Dimondale Cemetery.

Interment in Dimondale Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Chappell, Dale Reynolds, Ronald Ridenour, Robert Russell, Stuart Warren and Philip Yerxa.
