Age 66, died Nov. 4, 1982. He was born Dec. 8, 1915 in Ludington, MI. Mr. Hilliard was a veteran of W.W.II serving with the U.S. Army, Past Commander of American Legion Browne-Cavender Post #148, member of D.A.V. and Past Nobel Grand of Mason I.O.O.F. #93. He retired from C&J Driveaway after 30 years. Surviving are 2 brothers, C. Ross HILLIARD, Jr. of FL and Donald L. HILLIARD of Lansing. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held Wed. 3:00 p.m. at North Cemetery, Lansing with American Legion Browne-Cavender Post #148 officiating. The family is being served by the Ball-Dunn Chapel, Gorsline-Runciman Co. Mason.

Robert L. HILLIARD

  Robert L. Hilliard, 66, of 415 W. Ash St., Mason, died Thursday, Nov. 4. He was born Dec. 8, 1915 in Ludington.
  He was a World War II Army veteran. He was Past Commander of American Legion Browne-Cavender Post, a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a past noble grand of the Mason International Order of the Odd Fellows.
  He retired from C&J Driveaway after over 30 years with the firm.
  Graveside services were held Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the North Cemetery in Lansing. Browne-Cavender Post officiated.
  Arrangements were made by the Ball-Dunn Chapel, Gorsline-Runciman Co., Mason.
