Age 92, passed away on November 25, 1992. She was born in March 4, 1900 in Pauldig Co., OH, and had been a resident of Lansing for most of her life. Mrs. Figg was a Charter member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church of God; a Past member of the Navy Mothers Club; a member of the Waverly 39er's; and was known as the "Doll Lady" for many years, assembling dolls from ceramics, plastics, and other materials. Surviving are 2 daughters, Ethel (Ward) ZERKLE and Florence (Warren) KENNEY, both of Lansing; 2 sons, Walter HINKLEY of Coldwater, MI and Kenneth LUCERO of Orlando, FL, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Religious services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 30, 1992 in the Estes- Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with Pastor Dan Coleman of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church of God, officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Daisy E. Figg.
