FARRIER, Willard E.
DeWitt
Age 81, died May 25, 1999. Born February 27, 1918 in DeWitt the son of Earl and Lucille
(PIERCE) FARRIER who preceded him in death. Mr. Farrier was the Retired Pastor of South Riley
Bible Church for 35 years. He was employed with Roseville Meat Packing Co. and with the Boys
Vocational School and was a farmer. He had a love for birds, old farms and the outdoors. He was
preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn (Mackey) FARRIER (December 1957), son, Roy WRIGHT
(May 1998), grandson, Jeffrey FARRIER (June 1991), granddaughter, Ashley WEBSTER (May 1993),
brother, Wayne FARRIER (September 1990) and sister, Wiona WHITE. Surviving are his wife of 26
years, Iva; 4 daughters, Norene (Paul) ANDREWS of Lansing, Janith (Chan) WOODBURY of Wyoming,
Wilma (Larry) HOLLY of Arkansas, and Betty Sue (Michael) POPE of McBain; 4 sons, Eugene (Shirley)
FARRIER of Kalkaska, Myron (Sue) FARRIER of Lake City, Ron WEBSTER of Mt. Pleasant and Ralph
(Julie) WEBSTER of DeWitt; foster son, James HENDRIX; 28 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren,
7 great great grandchildren; brother, Wesley (Jerri) FARRIER of Maple Rapids. Funeral services
will be held Friday, May 28, 12 noon at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. DeWitt Chapel, 111 S. Franklin,
DeWitt, with Pastor Bob Prange and Pastor Wesley Farrier, officiating. Interment will follow in
DeWitt Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
