County Official Succumbs

  Dimondale - Lloyd M. EDDY, 70, of 11500 Jarvis Hwy., died Wednesday of a heart attack when returning from a meeting of the Eaton County Board of Commissioners.
  A retired hardware store owner here, he was a county commissioner from Windsor Township who had not sought re-election to that post and in November was elected to the Windsor Township Board of Trustees.
  The body is in the Berl Field funeral home.

Lloyd EDDY

  Services for Lloyd M. Eddy, 70, of 11500 Jarvis Highway, Dimondale, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Berl Field Funeral Home, Dimondale. Mr. Eddy died Wednesday.
  A Windsor Township resident since 1939, Mr. Eddy owned the Eddy Hardware store until retiring. He was a former member of the township board of review and the Tri-County Planning Commission and had just completed his fourth year as an Eaton County commissioner. He was elected a Windsor Township charter trustee last month.
  He was a member of F and AM 449 of Dimondale, the Dimondale Lions Club and the Grovenburg United Methodist Church.
  Survivors include his wife Lillian; a son Jon, of Miami, Fla., and a daughter, Mrs. Virginia WAGLEY of Birmingham.

EDDY, Lloyd M.

Died suddenly Dec. 20, 1972 at the age of 70. He was born in Belding, Michigan, August 11, 1902 and had been a resident of Windsor Township since 1939. Surviving are his wife Lillian; 1 son Jon, of Miami, Fla., 1 daughter, Mrs. Virginia WAGLEY of Birmingham, Michigan, and 3 grandchildren. He owned the Eddy Hardware in Windsor Township until retiring. He was a former member of the township board of review and the Tri-County Planning Commission and had just ended his 4th year as an Eaton County commissioner. In Nov. he was elected a trustee of Windsor Charter Township board. He was a member of F and AM No. 449 of Dimondale, the Dimondale Lions Club and the Grovenburg United Methodist Church. Funeral servies will be held from the Berl-Field Funeral Home, Dimondale, Sat., Dec. 23 at 2 p.m., Rev. Maurice Glasgow of the Grovenburg United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Dimondale Cemetery.
