Age 100, formerly of Lansing and Dimondale, died Friday, February 25, 1994 at Bortz Health
Care Facility in Traverse City. Born January 24, 1904 in DeWitt, MI; she was one of five
children born to Herman and Emma LIETZKE. On June 20, 1924 she married Lloyd M. EDDY of Lansing,
MI; who preceded her in death. A graduate of Lansing Business University, she worked for many
years as a Stenographer of Oldsmobile in Lansing, and also for the republican State Central
Committee. For 20 years she and her husband owned and operated L.M. Eddy Hardware in Dimondale.
She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, Arbutus Chapter, and a member of the Grovenberg
Methodist Church. Survivors include son, Jon (Julie) EDDY of Charlotte; and a daughter, Virginia
(Vance) WAGLEY of Kewadin, MI; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will
be announced. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the American Cancer of the
American Heart Association.
