DRAVENSTATT, Kenneth L.

Born November 19, 1902 in Mulliken; died April 2, 1995 at the age of 92. Mr. Dravenstatt was known at "Lansing's Oldest Garage Mechanic." He completed an apprentice course at REO and then became self-employed. Mr. Dravenstatt was very active member of the Central Free Methodist Church, where he also was a Sunday School Teacher. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Mildred E. (BIDWELL); 2 daughters, Beverly (Kenneth) McNEILLY of Holt and Ardis (the Rev. G. Robert) SAWYER of Mayville; 6 grandchildren, Parna and Bill WESTFALL, Don and Margaret McNEILLY, Kenneth and Tresea McNEILLY, Kevin and Pattie McNEILLY, Gerald and Gina SAWYER and Cinda SAWYER; 1 half-sister, Dorothy (Russell) SLEE of Pioneer, OH; 2 close nephews, Melvin and Myron DRAVENSTATT and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 12 noon at the Gorsline- Runciman Co. Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, with the Rev. G. Robert Sawyer, Pleasant View Free Methodist Church and the Rev. R. Daniel Shinabarger, Central Free Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Danby Cemetery, Portland. Friends may call at the Chapel beginning Tuesday, 12 noon, where the family will receive friends from 12-9 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Lawrence Dimondale Center, 4000 M-99, Dimondale, 48821 or the Central Free Methodist Church, 828 N. Washington Ave., Lansing 48906, in memory of Mr. Dravenstatt.
