Age 81, passed away September 15, 1991. She was born September 16, 1909 in Gregory, MI, and
had been a resident of Holt most of her life. She was employed at Michigan State University as a
Cook in Williams hall for 10 years, retiring in 1972. Surviving are 5 sons, Carl and wife
Kathleen, and Jim all of Florida, John and wife Lois of Lansing, Wayne and wife Marlene of
Mason, Richard and wife Patti of Perry; 2 daughters, Dorthy and husband Larry MILLER of Holt,
Ruby Ann and husband Ed PENOYER of Lansing; daughter-in-law, Mary DENISON of Holt; 26
grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; niece and nephew. She was preceded in death by husband,
Carl in 1976; 2 sons, Paul in 1990 and Jerry in 1943; and daughter, Janet in 1935. Religious
memorial services will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Tucker at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 19,
1991 at the Cedarway Free Methodist Church, 4515 S. Cedar, Lansing, MI. There will be no Funeral
Home visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer
Society. Arrangements by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
