Mr. Denby, age 49, died at a local hospital Feb. 20, 1978. He had been a resident of Holt for 20 years, coming from
Mason. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Holt. Surviving are: wife Edna; 1 son Wayne F. DENBY, Jr. of
Fowlerville; 1 daughter Miss Patricia L. DENBY of Holt; 1 granddaughter Angela; mother Mrs. Hazel SHEADER of Eaton Rapids;
3 sisters Lucille CLUTTER of Eaton Rapids, Laura DAY of Holt and Irene ANDERSON of Mason; 2 brothers John DENBY of Chicago
and Kenneth DENBY of Leslie and several nieces and nephews. Religious services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the
First Presbyterian Church in Holt, with Rev. David M. Milbourn officiating, with interment in Mt. Rest Cemetery in St.
Johns, Mi. Mr. Denby will be at the Estes-Leadley Holt Chapel, until 11 a.m. Thursday, then taken to the Church to lie
instate from noon until service time.
