Mrs. Day, age 68, passed away July 7, 1983. She was born in Lansing and had been a resident of Holt for 42 years.
Surviving are husband, Delos; 3 sons, Delos DAY Jr. of Marion MI, John DAY of Holt, and Richard DENBY of Mt. Morrice, MI;
3 daughters, Patricia L. ALESHIRE of Holt, Mary Lou POOR of Onondaga, and Laura HUNTLEY of Marion; 21 grandchildren;
4 great grandchildren; mother, Hazel SHEADER; 2 brothers, Kenneth DENBY of Leslie and John DENBY Jr. of Chicago; 2 sisters,
Irene ANDERSON of Mason and Lucille CLUTTER of Eaton Rapids. Religious services will be conducted by Pastor Bruce O.
Babienco of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 1 p.m. Mon. in the Estes Leadley Holt Chapel with interment in Eastlawn
Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sun. Pallbearers will be Wayne
Thompson Jr., Theodore M. Poor Jr., Kirk Poor, Troy DeZess, Kenneth DeZess, and Todd DeZess.
