Age 59, died Nov. 13, 1975. He was born in Gleason, Tenn. on July 25, 1916 and had been a Lansing resident for 27
years. He was employed by the State, working for Boys Training School for 18 years, then transferring to the Highway
Dept., Charlotte Branch for the past 3 years. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, serving as an ordained deacon,
assistant church treasurer and chairman of the finance committee. Surviving are the wife, Lois; daughter, Mrs. Harold
(Martha) CROLEY of DeWitt; son Joe DANNER of Shawnee Mission, Kansas; 8 grandchildren, Susan, Tim, Lisa, Mike and
Jennifer DANNER; Steve, Jeff and Staci Joe CROLEY; his mother, Mrs. Euna ESCH of Gleason, Tenn.; 3 brothers, Lee DANNER of
Sharon, Tenn., Horace DANNER of St. Louis, Mo., Ray DANNER of Gleason, Tenn., 1 sister, Mrs. Mildred BROOKS of Cookeville,
Tenn. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Rogers
officiating. Pallbearers will be Bill Deal, James Ellis, John Jackson, Joe Karkau, J.W. Phillips and Harmon Lamb. Special
honorary bearers are the Deacon Body of Bethany Baptist Church. Interment in Hope Well Cemetery, Gleason, Tenn. Friends
may call at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel.
