DAHER, Anna Marie
Lansing
Age 65, died August 23, 1997 at a local hospital after a short illness. Ms. Daher was born
August 16, 1932, the daughter of Mary and Habeeb DAHER, and was a life long resident of Lansing.
She graduated from St. Mary's High School; attended Lansing Community College and Michigan State
University, and was employed at Boy's Training School and the State of Michigan. She was a
member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and held membership in the St. Casimir's Guild, Ladies Cedar
Club, and the Association of Catholic Business Women. Ms. Daher is preceded in death, by her
parents; brothers, Louis and Joseph; and sisters Rose Marie and Sister Maristella DAHER
(Isabelle). She is survived by her brothers, Thomas DAHER and John (Judi) DAHER; sisters,
Catherine COREY, Egene DAHER, Sister Elizabeth DAHER (Juliette) of Hollidaysburg, PA; nephew,
Philip (Kyoto) DAHER of Auburn Hills, MI; nieces, Petra DAHER of Lansing, Julianne DAHER of
Kalamazoo, Shelly Van EPPS of Lansing, Rosemary (David) RENTSCHLER, and nephew, Mark RENTSCHLER
of New York. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic
Church with Rev. Fr. William Lugger as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic
Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, 7-9 p.m. at the Palmer-Bush Lansing Chapel,
where a Rosary will be prayed at 6:45 p.m., led by members of the Association of Catholic
Business Women, and Tuesday 2-4 and 7:30-9 p.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 815 Sparrow Ave.
Pallbearers for Ms. Daher will be members of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus #9711. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to St. Casimir Church or to Lansing Catholic Central High School
in memory of Anna Marie Daher.
