CRITTENDEN, Carlton J.
Dimondale
Age 77, died November 14, 1994 at his home following a short illness. Mr. Crittenden was
born July 4, 1917 in Springport, MI, the adopted son of Edward P. and Anna M. CRITTENDEN. A
retired Oldsmobile employee (Local #1618), he was a longtime resident of Dimondale and was an
active member of the First Presbyterian Church for many years, Carlton was preceded in death by a
granddaughter, Kay Lynn CRITTENDEN. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy E; his daughter, Edna (Barry)
CARLSON of Midland; 2 sons, Allen CRITTENDEN of Dimondale and Daryl (Cathy) CRITTENDEN of Lansing;
3 grandchildren, Sharon (Tom) KUBITZ, Kimberly (Ron) NORRIS and Edward Leonard; 3 great
grandchildren; his sister, Gladys SMITH of Los Angeles, CA; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale with Rev.
John A. Toth officiating. Interment in Dimondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends and
relatives from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Field & Leik Funeral Home, Dimondale. Memorials
may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale or Eaton Community Hospice; envelopes are
available at the Funeral Home and Church.
