Age 82, died Dec. 10, 1982; born Sept. 5, 1901 in Paulding Co., OH. Mrs. Christian attended
South Baptist Church, she retired as an instructor at the Boys Training School in 1968. Mrs.
Christian was a member of Michigan Home Extension Service for over 50 years. She was also a
member of Christian Business and Professional Women's Assoc. Surviving are 1 daughter, Mrs.
Stanley (Marjorie) PEARCE of Dimondale; 3 grandchildren, Patricia ADAMS of Grand Ledge, Richard
PEARCE of East Lansing, and Vickie HAMMOND of Holt; 6 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Morris
BURCH of Holt. Funeral services will be Tues. at 11:30 at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel.
Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery in Okemos. Visitation will be Sun. from 6-9 and Mon. 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to Youth Haven Ranch, 3796 Perrine Rd., Rives
