Mr. Buck, age 85, died at a local hospital Feb 10, 1979. He had been a lifelong Holt area resident, having
lived on a Pioneer Centennial Farm all of his life. He attended the Pennway Church of God. He was active in Senior's
Citizens of Delhi Twp and the Bonsai Society of Michigan. He was a Veteran of World War I. Surviving are: wife Flora Etta;
4 sons, Walton J. and Rev. Arthur E. BUCK, Jr. both of Lansing, Jon R. of Maryland and Howard P. of Holt; 2 daughters, Mrs.
Lyle (Arleen) ROBERTSON of Holt and Mrs. Philip (Peggy) BYINGTON of Vermontville; 22 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren;
3 brothers, Homer of Potterville, Daniel of Ovid and Benjamin of Owosso and 1 sister Mrs. Theta VINCENT of Holt. Religious
services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wed. in the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with Rev. Earl L. VanSipe officiating,
with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery in Mason.
