BRONSON, Floyd H.
Lake Odessa
Age 69, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, August 13, 1998. He was born February
27, 1929 in Eaton Rapids, MI, the son of Joseph and Mary (RAMEY) BRONSON. He married Loraine
CRITTENDEN on August 12, 1950 in Angola, IN. He was a member of the Woodland Eagles, and he also
served as a fire fighter for the Lake Odessa Fire Department for 25 years, and the last few years,
a photographer. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine; daughters, Diane KING of Lake Odessa, Deborah
(Kris) LAPHAM of Lowell, Kathy (Lee) LINSCOTT of Lake Odessa, Patti RICE of Lake Odessa, Lisa
BEGEROW and her friend, Ted HYATT of Nashville, MI; 19 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren;
sister, Lois GEPHART of Grand Ledge; brother, Raymond BRONSON of Grand Ledge; and many nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Erin Elaine BRONSON; and sister, Betty BRYNER.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Lakewood United Methodist Church with Rev. Ward
Pierce officiating with interment in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at
Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lakewood
Community Ambulance, or Lake Odessa Fire Department.
