the Estes-Leadley Funeral Home.

Willie R. BRIGGS Funeral Friday
Funeral services for Willie R. Briggs, 74, of 2242 Gilbert Road, Holt, a city employe, will be at 1 p.m.
Friday at the Estes-Leadley Colonial Chapel.
He died Wednesday at a Lansing hospital. He had been a Lansing resident since 1917 after moving here from
Ashley. He was a World War I veteran.
Services will be held at Estes-Leadley Colonial Chapel at 1 p.m. Friday with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Willie R. Briggs, age 74, died at a local hospital, February 5, 1964. He had been a resident
of Lansing since 1917, coming here from Ashley, Mich., a former emlpoye of the City of Lansing
and was a veteran of World War I, surviving is a nephew, Ruie SHEPARD of Lansing. Religious
services will be conducted by Dr. James C. Dotson of Miller Rd. Bible Church at the Estes-Leadley
Colonial Chapel at 1:00 Friday, with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Bearers will be, Charles J.
Kittridge, Kenneth Swan, Andrew J. Spinks, Robert Bandt, Stephen Reynolds and Clarence E. Mathews.
