Mrs. Brandt, age 77, died July 24 at a Lansing hospital. She was a retired switchboard operator for Paramount
Engineering in Detroit. Surviving are 3 brothers, Harry and Harold HOWE of Eaton Rapids, Henry HOWE of Florida; 3 sisters,
Mrs. Hazel SHEADER and Mrs. Margaret PORTER of Eaton Rapids and Mrs. Myrtie HILLIARD of Dimondale; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Mon., July 26 at 1 p.m. at the Rosehill Cemetery in Eaton Rapids. Memorial contributions may be
made to Michigan Diabetes Association. Arrangements by the Skinner Chapel, Eaton Rapids.

Beatrice BRANDT
Beatrice Brandt, 331 W. Knight St., Eaton Rapids, died Saturday morning, July 24 at a Lansing hospital where
she had been a patient for one week. Mrs. Brandt was born July 12, 1905 in Eaton Rapids, daughter of James and Ada HOWE.
She worked for many years in Detroit as a switchboard operator for Paramount Engineering. After retiring, she returned to
Eaton Rapids where she has lived since 1968.
Surviving are 3 brothers, Harry and Harold HOWE of Eaton Rapids, Henry HOWE of Florida; 3 sisters, Mrs. Hazel
SHEADER and Mrs. Margaret PORTER of Eaton Rapids and Mrs. Myrtie HILLIARD of Dimondale; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Monday, July 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosehill Cemetery with nephews George and
William HOWE officiating. Casket bearers were nephews Douglas, Michael and Timothy HOWE, Eric and Scott McKESSY and Steve
DUNN.
