Grand Ledge
Mr. Beech, age 77, passed away March 19, 1993 at his residence. He was a life time resident
of Grand Ledge; member of the Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church; retired employee of
Oldsmobile Forge Plant with 27 years of service; former Cub Master of Pack 155; Boy Scout
District Commissioner of District #636. He greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors
include 1 son and daughter-in-law, Mel and Carolyn BEECH of Grand Ledge; 3 daughters and sons-in-
law, Carol and James ROGERS of Goshen, IN, Sharon BEECH of Nashville, MI, Barbara and John THOMPSON
of Lansing; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday,
March 22, 11 a.m. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. Interment at the Oakwood
Cemetery, Grand Ledge. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday, 7-9 p.m.
and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Contributions to the Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church
Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Envelopes available at the Funeral Home.
