W.E. AKINS, Ex-Wheel Worker, Dies
William E. Akins, 71, of 912 Farrand St., a Motor Wheel employe for 25 years, died Tuesday in a Lansing hospital.
Mr. Akins, a resident of Lansing for 30 years, retired from the Motor Wheel four years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Mable E.; three daughters, Mrs. Jim LANGE of Muskegon, and Mrs. Martha SCHELLHAMMER and
Mrs. Edna WORDEN, of Lansing; two sisters, Mrs. Lou Taylor of Greenfield, Tenn., Mrs. Mina PHILLIPS of Gleason, Tenn.,
and seven grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday, 2:30 p.m., at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
